Little Dreamers Academy

During the school year, Walker has been attending Little Dreamers Academy. He has made some great friends and has fallen in love with his teacher, Mrs. Heather. We so appreciate being able to leave him in the morning and know that he is going to have a fun day. While I will be keeping him at home this summer. We will definitely have to go back and visit Mrs. Heather!
Mrs. Heather is the best!
Vroom, vroom!

Good Friends....

....are hard to find. We had some wonderful friends visit this weekend and they brought their sweet baby boys. We were running in a fun race called the Warrior Dash and they all came for a mini reunion! Walker loved getting to play with Turner, Jamison, and Jackson.

My Little Monster

So we are in the messy phase, the get into everything phase, and the throwing phase...whew. Maybe I should have titled this post, "My Messy Little Monster."

The messy phase...
After every meal I feel I need to take W out back and hose him down! He is a very independent little guy and he wants to do it himself! There is food everywhere....on his face, in his hair, in his lap, and all over the high chair. I actually found some food on the side of the cabinet where he had rub his hand all over it.
The get into everything phase....
And I mean EVERYTHING. Anything that he is not supposed to touch, he does. His favorite place is the bathroom. I have totally reorganized the bathroom to make it more kid friendly and he still finds things to play with he shouldn't! He loves to climb the steps in our house. He can get up and down them faster than you can say, "No, Walker!"
The throw everything phase...
He is constantly throwing balls, but he treats everything like a ball. He throws mega blocks, sippy cups, food, stuffed animals, and anything else he can get in his hands. I'm fine with him throwing everything but food. It never fails that he will throw green beans on the floor right after I've mopped!
I would have to say that I'm ready for a couple of these phases to move along...especially the throwing of the food. Of course, I love my little monster! :)
